The 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid has a standard 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that is united to a Full-Parallel Hybrid System. Together, this setup delivers a powerful, yet efficient performance as you travel along Route 14. It has an impressive 41/44/42 MPG city/hwy/combined2 fuel economy rating, which allows you to go longer distances in between stops at the gas station. This efficiency grade is allotted to standard FWD models. However, there is optional AWD3 that provides better traction during snowy conditions. The SUV can achieve 232 net horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of combined torque, so if you’re looking for a vehicle with a peppy performance, you’ll enjoy this vehicle.
Technology
Kia has taken great care to outfit the Sportage Hybrid with helpful technologies that make everyday drives to work or Teal Park easier. The available Head-Up Display4 is an advanced feature that displays important driving information directly onto the windshield. From navigation directions to a speedometer, you can keep your eyes on the road while still getting critical data. On the dashboard is a dual panoramic display that includes a standard 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment interface4. On the latter, you’ll find many entertainment features, including standard wireless Android Auto™5 and Apple CarPlay®6 integration.
